The silver coin was hand cast from silver ingots recovered from the Sunken Treasure of the Nuestra Senora de Atocha and fine Sterling Silver. The Nuestra Senora de Atocha (Our Lady of Atocha) Spanish Galleon shipwrecked on September 5, 1622, when it struck a reef during a hurricane and sank in the Florida keys, taking with her 264 souls. The Galleon contained 47 troy tons of treasure, which were scattered over 50 miles of the ocean floor. Only 5 people survived the wreck. The treasure remained buried at sea until 1985 when salvager Mel Fisher found the mother lode. This coin contains Atocha Silver that is over 370 years old. The coin is a limited edition. It is shipped in the original Mel Fisher packaging with a Certificate of Authenticity. Looks nothing like the picture. Did not like it in person. They did refund me my money though. So great customer service
When the customer contacted us about a return, she stated she didn't think the pendant looked like the picture. We immediately emailed a pre-paid return label. We also stated, 'We would appreciate feedback as to why you don’t think it looks like the picture.' We strive to ensure our product images fairly represent represent our products. Unfortunately she never provided us with the feedback. She did attach an her own photo of the pendant she received to the review. It does looks like pendant's picture on the website with one exception. The bale on the pendant we sent was an upgraded more secure bale than the ring bale pictured on the our site. We do understand some might prefer the ring style bale. We can always swap the closed bale for the ring. We appreciate the customer's comment on our customer service.
